Strawberry Balsamic Sauce

The ingredients:

About 3 pints fresh strawberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

I cut the tops off strawberries and left them whole. Put all the ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low for about 2 1/2 hours. Let cool and pour in an airtight container for later. I left mine whole, but you could purée if you wanted. Perfect for chicken, salmon, pork, and filet mignon.
